Ingredients
  

  • 2.0 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1.0 cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1.0 large egg
  • 2.0 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.0 to taste salt
  • 0.0 spray non-stick cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Broccoli: Steam the broccoli florets until they are bright green and tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and chop them finely once they’ve cooled slightly.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix everything together until well combined.
  • Form the Tots: Using your hands, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into tot shapes (about 1 to 2 inches long). Place them on a plate or tray once shaped.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes while you prepare the tots.
  • Air Fry the Tots: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Carefully place the tots in the basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Cook: Air fry the tots for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. If your air fryer has a larger capacity, you might achieve desired crispiness with a slightly shorter cooking time.
  • Serve: Once done, remove the tots from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve them warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or sriracha mayo. Enjoy!
