300g linguine pasta

200g smoked salmon, cut into strips

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (plus additional for garnish)

1 teaspoon capers, rinsed and finely chopped (optional)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the linguine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water before draining the rest. Set the pasta aside.

    Sauté the Garlic: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, stirring constantly until fragrant. Be careful not to let it brown, as this could give a bitter taste.

      Create the Sauce: Lower the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine with the sautéed garlic. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for 2 minutes for slight thickening.
