4 salmon fillets (approximately 6 ounces each)

2 cups broccoli florets

4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

Zest of 1 medium lemon

Juice of 1 medium lemon

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Lemon wedges for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it's ready for roasting.

    Prepare the Marinade: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, dried oregano, sea salt, and black pepper until you achieve a smooth, well-combined marinade.

      Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in either a large mixing bowl or a Ziplock bag. Pour half of the prepared marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is generously coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 1 hour for a deeper flavor.

        Prepare the Broccoli: On a large, rimmed baking sheet, spread out the broccoli florets. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the broccoli and toss with your hands to ensure all florets are evenly coated for maximum flavor.

          Add Salmon to the Pan: Once marinated, carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet, positioning them atop the broccoli. Leave some space between each fillet for even cooking.
