Grilled Chicken Caesar Wraps

2 large chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

4 large whole wheat tortillas

2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)

Optional: cherry tomatoes, halved, for garnish

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marinade. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator to develop deeper flavors.

    Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Make sure the grill surface is clean and lightly oiled to prevent the chicken from sticking while cooking.

      Grill the Chicken: Take the marinated chicken out of the bowl and place it directly onto the heated grill. Cook the chicken for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side, checking for a crispy, golden exterior and ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes to retain its juices.

        Slice the Chicken: After resting, carefully slice the grilled chicken into thin strips to make it easier to wrap.

          Prepare the Wraps: Lay out one tortilla on a clean surface. Evenly distribute a portion of the chopped romaine lettuce, followed by a generous helping of the sliced grilled chicken. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top and drizzle with Caesar dressing, adjusting the amount to your preference.

            Roll the Wraps: To assemble, fold the sides of the tortilla towards the center to enclose the filling, then start rolling from the bottom up to tightly secure all the ingredients within the tortilla.

              Optional Toasting: To enhance the texture and introduce a crispy finish, place the assembled wraps back on the preheated grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.
