Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup brie cheese, sliced

1/4 cup balsamic glaze

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

4 slider buns

Arugula or mixed greens for garnish

Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

Prepare the Cherry Topping: In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the pitted and halved cherries along with the balsamic glaze. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until the cherries soften and the glaze thickens slightly. Once done, remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Make the Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined—be careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center for even cooking.

Grill the Patties: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Once the grill is hot, carefully place the slider patties on the grill. Cook for approximately 3 to 4 minutes on one side, then flip the patties. Add a slice of brie cheese on top of each patty, and continue grilling for another 3 to 4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your preferred level of doneness.

Toast the Buns: While the patties are grilling, slice the slider buns in half. Place the cut side down on the grill for about 1 to 2 minutes until they are golden brown and lightly toasted, enhancing their texture.

Assemble the Sliders: Once the patties are cooked to perfection, remove them from the grill. Start assembling your sliders by placing a generous handful of arugula or mixed greens on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top each with a grilled patty, and then add a spoonful of the warm grilled cherry mixture on top.

Finish and Serve: Complete your sliders by placing the top halves of the buns on each assembled slider. For an extra burst of flavor, drizzle additional balsamic glaze over the sliders just before serving. Enjoy the delightful blend of savory and sweet in your juicy Grilled Cherry Sliders!
