1/4 cup chia seeds

1/4 cup almond butter (or substitute with peanut butter)

A pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings: shredded coconut, crushed nuts, or dairy-free chocolate chips

Prepare the Bananas: Begin by peeling the ripe bananas. Slice each banana into 1/2-inch thick rounds and arrange them neatly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

    Make the Chocolate Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the unsweetened cocoa powder, chia seeds, almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir the mixture vigorously until it achieves a smooth, thick paste-like consistency.

      Coat the Banana Rounds: With a small spoon or spatula, take a generous portion of the chocolate mixture and dollop it onto each banana slice. Use the back of the spoon to spread the mixture evenly over the surface of the banana rounds.
