1 cup uncooked brown rice

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative)

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (homemade or canned)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

½ cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

2 tablespoons olive oil (for drizzling)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish with non-stick spray or drizzle with olive oil to prevent sticking.

    Cook the Broccoli: For fresh broccoli, steam or blanch the florets in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender but still crisp. For frozen broccoli, ensure it is completely thawed and drain any excess water before using.

      Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, broccoli, uncooked brown rice, broth, milk, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and optional paprika. Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well incorporated and evenly distributed.

        Add Cheese: Gently fold in ¾ cup of the shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture until it's thoroughly mixed, ensuring the cheese is spread throughout.
