Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz each)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons whole grain mustard

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). This allows the salmon to cook evenly.

Prepare the Honey Mustard Glaze: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Season the glaze with salt and freshly ground black pepper according to your taste preferences.

Prepare the Salmon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place the salmon fillets on the sheet with the skin-side facing down. Using a brush or spoon, generously coat each fillet with the honey mustard glaze, making sure to reserve some glaze for later use.

Bake the Salmon: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes. The fish should be opaque and flaky when tested with a fork. At the halfway mark, brush the fillets with the reserved glaze to enhance their flavor and ensure an even glaze throughout.

Garnish and Serve: Once the salmon is cooked through, remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for 2-3 minutes. This helps to retain the moisture. Before serving, sprinkle the salmon with freshly chopped parsley for a vibrant touch, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an added zesty flavor.
